Sometimes I am not sure who I am. I am a work in progress after all. Here are the facts though. I am wife to a man with amazing hands. My husband, Bruce, is a chiropractor and naturopath. We are proud parents to a very laid back little boy, Kage, who is 18 months old, and a sweet little girl, Ember who was born this June. Before I became a WAHM (work-at-home-mom), I worked as a graphic designer creating marketing material for a software company.
Because I was not busy enough taking care of a newborn, I opened my business, Recycling Babies, in March 2008. I spend most of my free time (when I can find it) sewing and crafting for my store or myself. I enjoy working with my hands and finding new ways to be creative and my store is a way to share this with others.
My life currently is about learning to live slow, thus the name of my blog. I have been working to “green” our family and get back to nature. It seems like the old days had a lot going for them. Especially now that we have a family, I want to make sure I take time to enjoy the small things in life.
I will be posting lots of my crafty stuff here as well as making announcements about my store and future stockings. If you want to stay up-to-date on what is happening at Recycling Babies as well as get in on any specials I might have, be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed.
Happy Recycling!
Michelle

It is so nice to meet you Michelle. I found you via the Vintage Swap Flickr pool that Heather is holding and was struck by how beautiful your photos and family are.
This Swap should prove to be interesting and very inspirational I am sure.
Truly, Julia
